Kristin Hines, LCSW-C

Kristin Hines is a Licensed Certified Social Worker–Clinical (LCSW-C) with extensive experience in forensic mental health, clinical supervision, and systems-level program administration. 

As a Regional Social Work Manager for the department of Parole and Probation, she oversees social work services, provides clinical supervision for social workers, and coordinates referrals and case collaboration efforts between agents and treatment providers. Throughout her careers Kristin has specialized in crisis intervention, forensic social work, trauma informed care, and behavioral health services across correctional, hospital, and community-based settings. Her professional experience includes emergency psychiatric evaluations, juvenile competency attainment services, and interdisciplinary treatment coordination, designed to improve outcomes for justice-involved individuals. 

In her leadership role, Kristin coordinates case staffing meetings with the Department of Corrections to support successful reentry planning and strengthen communication between incarcerated individuals and their supervising agents. She also contributes clinical expertise and strategic insight departmental and employee threat assessment meetings, helping to promote safety, ethical practice, and affective systems collaboration. Kristin holds a Master of Social Work from Widener University and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Wilmington University. Her professional interests center on forensic social work, trauma-informed care, and community mental health access. 

Kristin is passionate about advancing equitable access to mental health services and building strong partnerships across public systems, universities, and community organizations. She is dedicated to mentoring emerging social work professionals and supporting initiatives that improve mental health and justice outcomes through evidence-based and person-centered approaches.
